Update IDs for your CI, and single-platform publishes fixed
- Server
- eoas CLI
New
eoas publish --emitMetadata
Writes the update ID of each published platform to dist/xprem-update-metadata.json:
npx eoas publish --branch production --emitMetadata
[
{ "id": "9f2c4a1e-7b3d-4e5f-8a6b-1c2d3e4f5a6b", "platform": "ios", "runtimeVersion": "1.0.0", "branch": "production" },
{ "id": "4b8e2d7a-1c3f-4a5b-9e6d-7f8a9b0c1d2e", "platform": "android", "runtimeVersion": "1.0.0", "branch": "production" }
]
The id is the value Updates.updateId returns on the device. Your CI can read it to tag anything with the update it belongs to, such as source maps in BugSnag.
Requires eoas and the server on v3.2.4.
Fixed
Publishing a project that builds a single platform
Since v3.2.0, eoas publish failed on projects that export only one platform, like "platforms": ["ios"] or "platforms": ["android"] in app.json:
Error: Failed to request upload URL: expected exactly one launch asset in the file list: got 0
It now publishes the platforms that have a bundle and skips the others. Thanks to @JoniJuntto for the fix, their first contribution.
